CloudFerro is one of the 27 leading European companies operating in cloud and edge computing sector who have contributed to a roadmap to build the next generation cloud solution for Europe aiming at strengthening the European leadership in data economy. 

The roadmap  that has been presented in the European Commission indicates three priority areas that need  joint EU efforts and  investment to achieve a highly secure, low carbon, resource-efficient and interoperable cloud and edge ecosystem:

  • Becoming the leader in domains that will shape European cloud and edge offerings on the global market.
  • Renewing and expanding cloud and edge infrastructure foundations across Europe
  • Enabling sovereign and sector-specific services to end-users, providing businesses with trusted options that match global standards in terms of price and resilience

Companies that have worked out the new plan for the European development of new generation cloud services are: 3DS Outscale, Airbus, Amadeus, Aruba, Atos, Capgemini, CloudFerro, DE-CIX, Deutsche Telecom, Ericsson, German Edge Cloud, GIGAS, Indra, IONOS, IRIDEOS, Leaseweb Global, Magic Cloud, Nabiax, Nokia, Orange, OVHcloud, Retelit, SAP, Schneider Electric, Siemens, Telefonica, Telecom Italia.
