We proved in tests that CREODIAS is able to serve large buckets with a total throughput exceeding 2 PB of data - enough to handle Digital Twin Earth and other large-scale European or global research projects.
To understand, model and forecast the behavior of the Earth ecosystems, it is necessary to acquire, store and manage huge amounts of varied data and to make it available through unified, flexible, streamlined interfaces to multiple user communities.
